People’s views on how England, Scotland and Wales should be governed are often said to be bound up with their national or cultural identity. In addition, any proposed change to the constitutional settlements would have effects on each nation’s culture. For example, what would happen to the BBC and would people’s feelings about those on the other side of the border change if they were no longer part of the Union?
This section includes questions which ask people from each part of the UK about their own national identity, how they feel about those living in other parts of the UK and any cultural issues arising from the debates on constitutional change.
