Full question: The Scottish Government has published options for potential changes to income tax in order for Scotland to invest at least £200 million pounds more in better public services. A final proposal will be voted on by MSPs (Members of the Scottish Parliament) as part of the budget in December 2017. To what extent do you agree or disagree with the following statement? ‘I support the idea of gradual increases in tax that would aim to raise at least £200 million to fund better public services, with higher earners paying more tax and lower earners paying the same or less tax than they currently do.’
