As you may know, the Scottish Government is currently looking at different options
to prove whether or not there is a democratic mandate for Scottish independence, to
establish their right to demand a start to negotiations with the UK Government over
Scottish independence. Leaving aside your own current view on independence, would
you say there would be a proven democratic mandate for Scottish independence if ….A majority of voters vote for
pro‐independence parties, like the SNP, at the next UK General Election, but there is no explicit referendum on
the subject?
