Perceptions of government & the Union

The views of people in Scotland on how well the country is governed under the current constitutional settlement

Much of the debate on constitutional change in Scotland – both before and since the independence referendum – has focussed on whether or not Scotland gets a ‘good deal’ out of being in the Union. If you are interested in questions about how the UK or Scottish government is performing in specific policy areas, go to Policy issues. And for questions about how people in Scotland think the country should be governed there is also a section dedicated to this.
