Attitudes to independence

What the public thinks an independent Scotland would be like

Support for independence is likely to depend, at least in part, on what people think an independent Scotland would be like. There are many issues at stake – including the economy, public services like health and education, and Scotland’s voice in the world.

This section also includes questions on what choices they think an independent Scotland should make. For polls that ask whether people support or oppose independence see How Scotland should be governed. For polls that ask the question on the ballot (or the one proposed by the Scottish Government) go to Referendum voting intention.

Do you believe an independent Scotland would have to join the Euro?
